AFTER DEPARTING, THE LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT.  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO DEPARTURE, LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL.  RECEIVING SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT DATED 8 MAY 06 FROM FSDO SW01.  FERRIED AIRCRAFT, LANDING GEAR CONTROL REPLACED.  OPERATION CHECKED GOOD.  (K)
