FLT NR 177, FORWARD ENTRY DOOR EMERGENCY LIGHT INOP DURING STBY PWR CHECK.  REMOVED AND REPLACED LIGHT ASSY IAW AMM 33-50-01. OPS CHECK NORMAL.  AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED.
