CLIMBING THROUGH FL 340 CABIN PRESS LOW LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH CABIN AT 9000 FT AND CLIMBING.  CREW PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY DESCENT, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED SAFELY.  SDR WILL BE UPDATED UPON COMPLETION OF THE CORRECTIVE ACTION.
