## Discrepancy

AFT LEFT LAVATORY WATER HEATER OVERHEATED IN FLIGHT.  STRONG ODOR, LAVATORY LOCKED OUT.  HEATER DISABLED.  ODOR PERSISTS.  REPLACED LAVATORY WATER HEATER.  OPS NORMAL.  EXAMINED WIRING.  NO FAULTS.  AIRED LAVATORY AND ODOR MINIMIZED.
