ON T/O, THE NR 1 ENG GAVE LOUD BANG.  VIBES PEGGED OUT AT 5 PLUS AND EGT LT CAME ON.  SHUT NR 1 ENG DOWN AND LANDED ATL.  REPLACE NUMBER ONE ENGINE.
