## Discrepancy

ON APU START, APU FAULT DISPLAYED AND SMOKE COMING FROM TAIL COMPT.  ON FURTHER INSP, SAW VISIBLE FLAME COMING FROM APU STARTER.  FLAME WENT OUT AND NO EXTINGUISHING AGENT WAS NEEDED.  REPLACED STARTER, CLUTCH, AND START RELAY.
