AFTER STARTING APU,  A STRONG ELECTICAL BURNING ODOR DETECTED.  APU TURNED TO RAM AIR, COULD NOT DETECT BURNING ODOR.   SHUTDOWN ACFT.  INSPECTED ACFT, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
