UPON TAXI IN AND SHUT DOWN, LEFT MLG WAS SMOKING. NO HEAVY BRAKES WERE USED FOR LANDING OR TAXI.   REMOVED THE LH IB BRAKE ASSY PN 9914655-3 SN D0815 AND INSTALLED AN OVERHAULED BRAKE ASSY PN 9914655-3 SN 0576A. REF: MODEL 680A MAINTENANCE MANUAL (REV 23) 32-42-05. OPS TESTS ARE GOOD AND NO DEFECTS NOTED.
