ON APPROACH PF OPENED SPEED BRAKES. SPEEDBRAKES DID NOT DEPLOY. WITH ASSOCIATED GRND SPLR FAULT AND SPLR FAULT CAS MESSAGES.  ACCOMPLISHED THE QRH PROCEEDURE AND RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AIRPORT.   PERFORMED SPOILER OPS CHECK. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW AMM 45-45-00
