## Discrepancy

WHEN CLOSING THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR, THERE WAS A LOUD POP AND THE FORWARD CLOSING ASSIST CABLE BECAME SLACK.   INSPECTED MED FOUND BROKEN FWD COUNTERBALANCE SPRING AND BROKEN MED OVER CENTER PUSHROD. REMOVED AND REPLACED MED FWD FAILED COUNTERBALANCE SPRING, AND PERFORMED A SATISFACTORY ADJUSTMENT AND OPS CHECK OF THE MED COUNTERBALANCE SYSTEM ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 52-10-50. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE FAILED MED OVER CENTER PUSHROD IAW AMM 52-10-30.
