## Discrepancy

WHEN THE MAIN CABIN DOOR IS CLOSED FROM THE INSIDE, THE DOOR HANDLE LOCKING MECHANISM SOMETIMES ENGAGES EARLY, BUT MORE OFTEN, DOES NOT ENGAGE AT ALL, ALLOWING THE DOOR HANDLE TO BE LIFTED WITHOUT PRESSING THE RED RELEASE BUTTON.  THE AMBER LIGHT ON THE DOOR REMAINS ON AND THE CABIN DOOR OPEN CAS MESSAGE DOES NOT CLEAR.  REPEAT WRITE-UP.  REPLACED WIRING HARNESS. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW AMM 24-60-25
