## Discrepancy

JFK - ON DESCENT NR 1 ENGINE COMPRESSOR STALLED, FLT LEVEL 390 STALL OCCURRED IN CONJUNCTION WITH HIGH STAGE VALVE OPENING.  MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE 500 DEGREES.  ENGINE SHUTDOWN AND RESTARTED.
