AFTER TAKEOFF WITH GEAR UP AND FLAPS AT 2 DEGREES HYD SYS A QTY DROPPED TO 1.6 GALLONS.  SERVICED A-SYSTEM HYDRAULICS, RAN ALL FLT CONTROLS, SYS OPS OK AND A-SYS QTY IND FALL.
