LEFT ENGINE SHUTDOWN IN CRUISE DUE TO POWER DROPPING OFF, POWER LEVER ADVANCE HAD NO EFFECT.  MADE UNEVENTFUL LANDING ANC.  REPLACED NR 1 ENGINE FUEL CONTROL UNIT.  GROUND OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.  (M)
