## Discrepancy

DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, PILOT REPORTED THE ODOR OF SMOKE. WHEN AIR CONDITIONING TURNED OFF, ODOR WENT AWAY.  MECHANIC FOUND COMPRESSOR PULLEY SEIZED AND BELT BURNED TO A POINT OF FAILURE. AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM INSTALLED IAW STC SR09117RC-D.
