DEPARTED HOSPITAL, XSMN CHIP LIGHT ILLUMINATED APPROX 2 MIN AFTER DEPARTURE. ABORTED FLIGHT, CONDUCTED PRECAUTIONARY EMERGENCY LANDING AT AIRPORT. REMOVED AND INSPECTED UPPER AND LOWER TRANS AND FREE WHEELING CHIP DETECTORS, REMOVED AND CHECKED FILTER, AND FOUND NO INDICATION OF CONTAMINATION. CLEANED ALL ELECTRICAL PLUGS. PERFORMED 20 MINUTE GROUND RUN AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE, ALL WORK IAW BHT 407 MM CH. 63
