R1 DOOR LWR GATE HAS CORROSION. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, FOUND R1 DOOR LOWER GATE ASSY OUT OF LIMITS IAW SRM 52-10-02, FIG 101, DET V.  REMOVED R1 DOOR  LOWER GATE  IAW CMM 52-11-05.  R & R R1 DOOR  LOWER GATE ASSY MM 52-11-38.  REINSTALLED R1 DOOR LOWER GATE IAW CMM 52-11-05.  ADJUSTED R1 DOOR IAW MM 52-11-00-5.   MAJOR REPAIR. .
