25 MINUTES INTO FLIGHT, FL 280 ENGINE ANTI-ICE ON, WING TAIL OFF, LEVEL 3 AIR MANIFOLD 2 FAIL.  QRH PROCEDURE FOLLOWED.  REMOVED AND REPLACED C5-87 CONNECTOR IAW EA1-3622-T0314946 REV PS P2.  PERFORMED TEST OF THE MANIFOLD FAILURE CONTROLLER AND  PASSED IAW AMM 36-23-01-5.  RAN ALL ENGINES IAW JRH. ALL PNUMATIC SYSTEMS NORMAL AND NO ALERT ILLUMINATED.   PNEUMATIC SYSTEM OPS AND MANIFOLD FAIL DETECTION OPS CHECKED OK IAW AMM 36-10-00-2 & 36-23-00-5.
