COURIER AREA CENTER EMERGENCY LIGHT WITH R1 DOOR  OVERHEAD EMERGENCY LIGHT AND EXTERIOR SLIDE LIGHT INOP.  R & R EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY UNIT IAW AMM 33-51-07-2, R1 OVERHEAD EXIT SIGN & R1 EXTERIOR SLIDE LIGHT OPS CHK SERVICEABLE HOWEVER THE CTR INTERIOR ILLUMINATED EXIT SIGN IS STILL INOPERATIVE.   ATTEMPTED TO REPLACE THE LAMP CTR OVERHEAD COURIER AREA EXIT SIGN IAW AMM 33-51-07-2. STILL NO JOY. SUSPECT NEEDS A NEW HOUSING ASSY. IAW IPC 33-51-01-90.  REMOVED AND REPLACED CENTER INTERIOR EMERGENCY EXIT SIGN LIGHT HOUSING ASSY IAW AMM 33-51-01-2, OPS CHECKED GOOD. ACFT OK FOR SERVICE.
