## Discrepancy

UPON CLOSING THE AIRCRAFT ENTRY DOOR AND ARMING THE EVACUATION SLIDES, F/O NOTICED AN FSS FAULT ON POSITIONS 13L AND 13R. F/O OPENED THE DOOR TO SEE IF THE FAULTS WOULD RESET WITHOUT DISARMING DOOR 1L AND THE EVACUATION SLIDE DEPLOYED BUT DID NOT INFLATE. MAINTENANCE AND DUTY OFFICER WERE CALLED TO ASSIST IN THE SITUATION. RELEASED FOR SERVICE IAW MEL 52-11-01-02, CATEGORY C. SLIDE/RAFT TO BE RETAINED ONBOARD, THEN PRIOR TO EACH DEPARTURE MAINTENANCE MUST VERIFY SLIDE/RAFT STOWED ACCORDING TO PROCEDURES.
