R1 DOOR SLIDE PRESS TO TEST LIGHT IS INOPERATIVE AMM 25-61-04-4.  R & R BATTERIES & BOTH LAMPS.  NO HELP.  R & R REMOTE PRESSURE INDICATOR ASSY IAW AMM 25-61-04-4.  INDICATOR KIT  BAD FROM STOCK.  INDICATOR STILL INOP. SLIDE BOTTLE PRESSURE NORMAL. RELEASED FOR SERVICE PER MEL 25-61-02  CATEGORY C.  R1 EVAC SLIDE REMOTE PRESS INDICATOR INOP. IAW MEL 25-61-02, VERIFY AND RECORD IN THE  AML, EVAC SLIDE SYS PRESS ADEQAUTE ONCE EACH FLIGHT  DAY.  MEL: 25-61-02. DISCOVERED THE BATTERIES INSTALLED INCORRECTLY ON REMOTE PRESSURE SWITCH, INSTALLED IN CORRECT POSITIONS, SWITCH CHKD GOOD IAW AMM 25-61-04-4. THIS CLEARS DEFERRAL.
