LOWER CENTER CARGO COMPARTMENT BILGE AREA LONGERON 48R SPLICE FOUND CORRODED AT BS 1705.   EVALUATED AND FOUND EXFOLIATION OUT OF LIMITS IAW SRM 53-00-00-2R, FIGURE 205, SHEET 1.  THE LONGERON SPLICE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH FABRICATED SPLICE IAW SRM 51-33-01-0G. SPLICE FABRICATED IAW DRAWING AFA3113, REVISION A.  REPAIR CLASSIFIED AS MAJOR IAW GMM 6-2-100.
