R1 ESCAPE SLIDE ACCIDENTALLY DEPLOYED BY MAINTENANCE.  DIFFERED R1 DOOR SLIDE IAW MEL.  UPON ARRIVAL AT THE NEXT STATION, REMOVED AND REPLACED R1 DOOR ESCAPE SLIDE.  OPERATIONAL CHECK OK.  (DMI CLEARED).  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.  (K)
