PILOT REPORTED THAT THE CABIN DOOR LOCK OBSERVATION LIGHT WAS INOP. MEL 88657. MAINTENANCE REPAIRED THE WIRE SPLICE D4436 AT THE DOOR ENTRY, IAW 33-20-07, OPS CK GOOD.
