PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER BUTTON COVER ASSY, COVER WAS PUSHING ON FIRE SWITCH AND CAUSED FIRE EXT LIGHT ON WARNING PANEL.  ADJUSTED CAGE ASSY AND INSTALLED SAFETY WIRE AS REQUIRED.
