ON CLIMB OUT, NR 1 GEN LIGHT ILLUMINATED.  FOLLOWED EMERGENCY CHECKLIST, ATTEMPTED TO RESET, WOULD NOT RESET.  TURNED NR 1 GEN SWITCH OFF.  LANDED, MAINTENANCE REPLACED NR 1 GENERATOR.
