UPON POSTFLIGHT CHECK OF #1 ENGINE NOTED OIL FILTER BYPASS INDICATOR EXTENDED.  REPLACED OIL FILTER WITH NO CHANGE.  INDICATOR REPLACEMENT CORRECTED PROBLEM. REPLACED DISCREPANT PART.  PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL TEST.  INDICATOR FAILED OPERATIONAL TEST PRESSURE RANGE.
