DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, THE PRIMARY INVERTER CAUTION LIGHT ILLUMINATED, ALONG WITH CAPTAIN'S FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS WENT DARK AND TRANSPONDER FAILED.  FOLLOWED CHECK LIST AND DECLARED AND EMERGENCY.  AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY.  FOUND PRIMARY AND AUX INVERTER CIRCUIT BREAKERS TRIPPED.
