AMMAENDED: STRONG FUEL SMELL/ODOR ENTERED COCKPIT AND CABIN ON APU START HAS EXTENSIVE HISTORY - APU FAIL ON EICAS MESSAGE ALSO DISPLAYED   MEL   02MAR26  11:53  GRR  C06116  49-1   APU AUXILIARY POWER UNIT   DFRL  04MAR26  08:46  SBY   ENGINE PROGRAMS DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS INSPECTING APU FOR FUEL LEAKAGE AND FUEL NOZZLE GASKET BLOWOUT.IF NO DEFECTS FOUND SUGGEST REPLACING FUEL NOZZLES. FUEL NOZZLES, GASKET,  QTY OF 6 EACH NEEDED.     FOUND MULTIPLE FUEL NOZZLE GASKETS LEAKING. R&R'D ALL FUEL NOZZLES IRT CMM 49-21-04. OPS/LEAK CHECK GOOD.
