## Discrepancy

THE PILOT REPORTED AN ELECTRICAL SMELL IN THE COCKPIT DURING FLIGHT.  MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND THE POTENTIOMETER FOR THE PILOT OVERHEAD MAP LIGHT MALFUNCTIONING.  THE MAP AND DIMMER ASSEMBLY WERE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
