AIR TURN BACK, GEAR WOULDN'T RETRACT HANDLE STOPPED IN OFF POS. ALL 3 GEAR SHOWED UNLK & DOWN W/ GEAR HANDLE IN OFF POSITION. FOLLOWED ECAM & PUT HANDLE DOWN. UNLK EXTINGUISHED & 3 GREEN DOWN & LOCKED REMAINED. ACCOMPLISHED OPERATIONAL CHECK WITH LANDING GEAR SIMULATOR TEST SET REF AMM 32-31-00/501. NO FAULTS NOTRD. ACCOMPLISHED FUNCTION TEST (GEAR SWING) OF LANDING GEAR SEVERAL TIMES USING SYSTEM 1 AND SYSTEM 2 REF AMM 32-31-00/501. LANDING GEAR OPERATION AND INDICATIONS NORMAL.
