FLAP FAIL MESSAGE WHEN ON APPROACH. REMOVED AND INSTALLED FLAP POWER DRIVE UNIT. INSTALLED CANNON PLUGS AND FLEXIBLE SHAFTS - DURING OPS CHECK FOUND FLAP POWER DRIVE UNIT AT 45 DEGREES INTERNALLY. MANUALLY DROPPED FLAPS TO 45, FPDU OPS CHECK FAIL. HARD FLAP FAIL MESSAGE, FOUND FLAP LH SENSOR FAIL ON CMC TO INCREASE ON FIRST ATTEMPT INSP VELOCITY SENSORS. NO DEFECTS NOTED. REMOVED AND REPLACED FLAP POWER DRIVE UNIT AND PERFORMED ZERO RIGGING. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF FPDU. OPS CHECK SAT, WHILE PERFORMING OPS CHECK FLAP LOW SPEED CAME INTO VIEW. REMOVED AND REPLACED LH VELOCITY SENSOR. OPS CHECK SAT.
