## Discrepancy

E1 OUT IN FLIGHT AT FLIGHT LEVEL 300. OCCURRED AT 30000, IT WAS SMOOTH AND THEN SEEMED LIKE TURBULENCE AND #1 ENGINE SHUTDOWN WITH EICAS MESSAGE. ATTEMPTED #1 ENGINE START WITH NO N2 AND NO FUEL FLOW. OIL AT 11 QTS, NORMAL ENGINE VIBRATION AND OIL TEMPS IN THE GREEN. ENGINE WAS WINDMILLING N1 SHOWED MOVEMENT AND N2 ZERO.  PERFORMED BORESCOPE OF E1 COMPRESSOR SECTION. MULTIPLE DEFECTS NOTED. REMOVED AND REPLACED LH ENGINE. OPS/LEAK CHECK SAT.
