## Discrepancy

PILOT REPORTED ENGINE FAILED ON CLIMBOUT. PILOT SECURED ENGINE AND RETURNED FOR UNEVENTFUL LANDING. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FOUND BROKEN FLANGE ON EXHAUST PIPE UPSTREAM OF TURBOCHARGER. ENGINE FAILURE CAUSE WAS LOSS OF EXHAUST SUPPLY TO TURBOCHARGER WHICH STARVED THE ENGINE OF INDUCTION AIR.
