## Discrepancy

DISCOVERED NOSE LANDING GEAR ALTERNATE EXTENSION DOOR WILL NOT OPEN ON PREFLIGHT INSPECTION.  FOUND THE LATCH WAS BROKEN WHICH LOCKS THE DOOR IN THE CLOSED POSITION.  MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE LATCH.
