PILOT REPORTED IN CRUISE FLIGHT THE ROTOR TACH WAS MOVING ERRATICALLY.  MECHANIC INSPECTED THE CONNECTOR AND CLEANED CANNON PLUG AND APPLIED HEAT SHRINK PER THE AMM
