## Discrepancy

DURING ROUTINE MAINT (1) OF (2) BELT TENSIONING ARMS FOUND CRACKED IN (2) PIECES.  FAILURE ORIGINATED AT WELDMENT.  SEVERAL HAVE FAILED IN THIS MANNER.  SUGGEST POST WELD, HEAT TREATMENT TO RELIEVE WELD STRESS.  (K)
