ASH 2855 PHX.  LOUD NOISE, SMOKE AND SMOKY SMELL.  MX PERFORMED HIGH POWERED MAINT RUN.  SYSTEM OP CHECK GOOD AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE DISCREPANCY.
