ACFT RETURNED TO FIELD, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AFTER TAKEOFF, WHEN MULTIPLE MESSAGES APPEARED.   AT FAIL/FMS SPEED ON PFD WILL NOT SHOW.  SECURED CONTROL I/O MODULE MAU1 SLOT 6 IAW  AMM 31-41-05. OPS CHECKED GOOD. NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
