DURING NIGHT MAINTENANCE, FOUND EXTERIOR LIGHT FOR LT EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR NOT ILLUMINATING.  REMOVED AND REPLACED LIGHT HOUSING, NO FURTHER DISCREPANCIES NOTED.  AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.  (X)
