## Discrepancy

DURING CLIMB, CREW NOTED THE NR 1 ENGINE INDICATED EXCESSIVE VIBRATION.  SECURED THE NR 1 ENGINE AND RETURNED TO AIRPORT.  INITIAL INSPECTION FOUND THE OVERSPEED PICKUP RING HAD FAILED.
