LEFT ENG POWER LEVER IS DIFFICULT TO ADVANCE FWD.  EXHIBITS A SPONGE LIKE FEELING.  R & R THE LT ENG FUEL CONTROL UNIT.  GND OPERATIONS & LEAK CHECKS WERE GOOD.  A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECK FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED.  ACFT WAS RTS.
