## Discrepancy

RECEIVED AN EMERGENCY BRAKE VALVE FROM VSE AVIATION FOR INSTALL DUE TO A DISCOVERY DURING ROUTINE INSPECTION ON OUR LR45 SN 45-0283. DURING INCOMING INSPECTION IT WAS NOTED THAT THE O-RING TO THE SHAFT OF THE VALVE WAS VISIBLY NOT SET AND THE UNIT WAS LEAKING HYDRAULIC FLUID. THIS UNIT WAS REPAIRED BY DUNCAN AVIATION ON WO KHSAA ON JUNE 13, 2024. IT WAS THEN SOLD TO BOMBARDIER IN 2024 WHO THEN SOLD IT TO VSE IN 2024. PURCHASED THIS UNIT ONLY AFTER RECEIVING ANOTHER BAD EMERGENCY BRAKE VALVE FROM VSE PRIOR TO THIS. THAT UNIT HAD THE SAME ISSUE AND WAS A NEW SURPLUS. ELEVATED THE ISSUE TO VSE QUALITY CONTROL FOR FURTHER ANALYSIS.
