DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE VISIT FIRST FLOOR LEVEL EMERGENCY LIGHT FOUND INOPERATIVE.  CRUSHED WIRE FOUND AND REPAIRED.  OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
