## Discrepancy

WHILE IN FORWARD FLIGHT, CREW DETECTED STRONG ODOR OF FUEL. AFTER AN UNSCHEDULED LANDING AND VISUAL INSPECTION OF ACFT FOUND THAT THE FUEL FILLER CAP WAS MISSING NEW FUEL CAP INSTALLED ACFT RETURN TO SERVICE.
