WITHIN A COUPLE OF MINUTES OF DEPARTING BASE, RECEIVED AN INDICATION OF FLI FAIL ON THE VEMD.  RETURNED TO BASE WITHOUT INCIDENT.  MECHANIC FOUND A FAULTY T4 HARNESS.
