GENERATOR OVERHEAT CAUTION ILLUMINATED SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF.  NR 1 ENG WAS SECURED & ACFT RETURNED TO HOSPITAL.  SINGLE ENG LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
