ON APPROACH, THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR FAILED TO FULLY EXTEND AND LOCK DOWN.  USED EMERGENCY DOWN AND AT THAT TIME THE LEFT DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION ILLUMINATED.
