PIREP ON LBE 2441306, ITEM 2: VERY LOUD RUBBING SOUND FROM THE REAR/UPPER PORTION OF THE AIRCRAFT DURING CLIMB OUT. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY A SMELL OF BURNING.  DEFERRED PER AMC BH429 MEL ITEM 2100-04. DEFERRAL CLEARED ON LBE 2441306, ITEM 8: REPLACED COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY. OPS CHECK GOOD. END
