## Discrepancy

THE MGT INDICATOR WAS WRITTEN UP AS DIM. WE HAD A REPAIRED UNIT IN STOCK AND REPLACED THE INDICATOR. TWO POWER CYCLES WERE PERFORMED AND THE INDICATOR FUNCTIONED NORMALLY. THE PILOT THEN ATTEMPTED TO START THE AIRCRAFT AND ABORTED THE START AFTER A FEW SECONDS. THE MGT INDICATOR WE HAD JUST INSTALLED HAD FAILED. THE LCD SEGMENTS WOULD DISAPPEAR DURING THE LCD TEST, AND IT WOULD INDICATE ERRONEOUS NUMBERS LIKE, '888088' FOR EXAMPLE.
